My wife, Betty, and I were fortunate to make friends with Russ while he was staying at the Ciatto's Rainbow Haven AFC Home. We really loved him and will miss him.

I worked with Russ in the early seventies on the Harvard fire dept. He was a hell of a man, who always had your back, with the you go we go attitude. A true professional in every sense of the word. A hero has fallen, go with God comrade.

He was a great "second dad" to Pam. He was always ready for a hay ride. He will be missed, gone but not forgotten.
