1933 - 2014
 Clayton Minor Jr., 80, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Larry Arbogast. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens with military rites performed by the American Legion Post #139. He was born December 23, 1933 in Barboursville, WV, a son of the late Clayton Minor Sr. and Georgia Gertie Hatfield Minor. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Minor. He was a retired employee of ACF Industries and Q.I.S. and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. His hobbies were fishing, camping, bowling and golf. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Moore Minor; three daughters, Charla Brand of Nitro, WV, Barbette (James) Slone of Proctorville, OH, and Margo (Larry) Arbogast of South Point, OH; three sons, Timothy (Tina) Purvis of Beaufort, SC, William Purvis of Proctorville, OH, and Charles (Krista) Purvis of Weyers Cave, VA; one sister, Patty Spradling of Huntington, WV; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV, 25702.
