Funeral services for Joseph Allen Johnson, 53, of Spurger, will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at noon and end at time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson died February 11, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Nashville TN, Joe was a lifelong resident of Fred and Spurger. He worked as an instrument technician before becoming disabled.
He is preceded in death by his father Marvin Henry Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Theresa Johnson of Spurger; mother Lela Katherine Johnson of Silsbee; son Shane Johnson of Spurger; daughter Chanice Johnson of Spurger; brothers Johnny Johnson and wife Cathy of Silsbee, Jack Johnson of Silsbee and James Johnson and wife Amy of Fred; sister Linda Jordan and husband Eddie of Spurger and granddaughter Macylin Johnson.
