1963 - 2014

Lori Ann HunterLori Ann Hunter, 50, was born on December 3, 1963 to Douglas and Joyce (Gillson) Hunter in Ionia. In Loris words, on February 14, 2014 she started her new journey. She fought a courageous battle of cancer for a year. She lived a wonderful life, always smiling and laughing. She had a laugh that was contagious and enjoyed making others smile and laugh.

She will always be remembered for being a great friend and a wonderful daughter. She was a great mother and a very loving grandmother and loved her family unconditionally.

Lori is survived by her son Cooper Daller of Sidney, her daughter Chelsea (Miguel) Aguilar, grandsons, Mason and Niko Aguilar all of Belding, her parents, Doug and Joyce Hunter of Sheridan, sisters Dianna (Bob) Lund of Sidney and Leslie Hunter ( Paul Diaz) of Muir, nieces, Abbie Lund and Zoey Hunter, very special friend, Sandy Grimiwood and special cousin, Jeremy (Cheryl) Gillson, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lori touched may lives and will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Archie and Berniece Gillson.

Funeral and committal services will be Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 2 PM at Hurst Funeal Home with Rev. Gerry Burns of Sheridan Bible Wesleyan Church as officiant.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan. Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 3 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lori Ann Hunter Benefit to be held on March 1st beginning at 3 PM at the Sheridan Community Center,205 St. Clair, Sheridan Michigan.

Lori was an amazing friend. She touched the lives of many people. She was a true friend and always there when someone needed her. She was full of life. Loved her family more than anything. I think a lot about growing up with Lori and Dianna, who lived just a few houses down the road..We spent many summers riding bikes and swimming..Times I will never forget. Love you all..
