My condolences to the family. Gus always had a smile, something funny to say and lots of vegetables that he shared. What a special person he was. Our loss and Gods good fortune to have him.

Johni Ruth and extended Dunbar family, I'm so sorry to hear about Gus. I regret that I cannot be with you Thursday and Friday. Gus was one of those wonderful people who helped the "village" raise many children. I will not forget him as a Christian and a Mason.

We have lost a good Brother and will miss him sorely. You are in our prayers in your time of sorrow and we wish you comfort in knowing what a great man and friend Gus was to many. Gus's neighbors trusted him with the keys to their houses, and now God trusts him with the keys to Heaven. May God bless and keep you.

To Johni Ruth and family: You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have so many fond memories of Gus, the beautiful gladiolas, the pound cakes, fresh garden vegetables he would bring to me, just to name a few. But above all, I will always treasure his friendship. Gus was a good man and he will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.
