1930 - 2014
 Donna Ilene Giddings age 83 of Gowen passed away at home on Saturday February 22, 2014. She was born in Sanilac County, Michigan on June 26,1930 the daughter of Edgar and Carol (Justin) Yoe. She was married in 1949 to Wilbert F. Giddings and they raised four children, Roger, Dennis, Richard and Catherine. Wilbert preceded her in death in 1992 and her grandson Carl Giddings also preceded her in 1995 as did her brother and two sisters.
She loved her children as the main reason for her life. She cherished her role as wife and mother and homemaker and at times worked other jobs to add to the familys needs.
Surviving are her children; Roger (Kristina) Giddings of Hicksville OH, Dennis (Marilyn) Giddings and Richard (Rose) Giddings of Greenville and Catherine Hoisington of Gowen, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral and committal services will be held on Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 11 AM from Hurst Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Maguire Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the spring at East Montcalm Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
