Nora Jean McCallister Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1933 - 2014 Nora Jean McCallister, 80, of Culloden, WV passed away, Thursday February 27, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House Huntington, WV. She was born November 23, 1933 in Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald McCallister; parents Don and Inez Burcham Stephens; and son John Clinton McCallister. She is survived a son Joseph Allen McCallister; three grandchildren Bryan and Amber McCallister, and Stacey Snyder; two sisters Frances King and Katherine Danford; brother Don F. Stephens, II; and a special caregiver Marie Popham. She retired from St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. At her request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. Joey- I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Aunt Nora Jean was very special and I am sorry I did not visit her. I planned to come with Carol Sue and Susan. I let life get to busy and I hope I will not do that in the future. We need to stay in touch with our families. Family reunions seem to be the best way to do that. I know my children do not know my side of the family very well and I wish that they did. The loss of a mother is difficult. You are in my prayers. If I can help in any way please let me know.
