Preacher Combs was a wonderful man. I have known him for over 40 years. He was my pastor as a teenager and he also married me and Allen 34 years ago. He loved The Lord and was a great and faithful servant. I feel very privileged to know him. He was a great asset to Liberty Baptist Church and he will be deeply missed. God bless your family.

So sorry to hear of Cotton's passing. I worked with him at Big Sandy Jct. back in the late 70's. The last time I saw him was a couple of years ago at a revival in Milton. I enjoyed visiting with him briefly talking over some fond memories of the railroad. I still remember a story he told me all those years ago about playing checkers with Timmy. He said he kept telling Timmy "to move" , but when he looked up Timmy was moving himself instead of the checkers! He was always about family! God Bless!

We were saddened to find out about the passing of Uncle Cotton. There is nothing we can say that will fill the gap that will occur in your lives right now. unfortunately, Kevin is out of town and I may be snow bound for the funeral home visitation. I'll will do all I can to make it there to express my condolences personally but don't know how this will all play out. We love you all and keep you in our prayers. He and Gidge are together again.
