Walter Nick Ryder Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1939 - 2014 Walter Allen Nick Ryder, 75, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday March 7, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House Huntington, WV. He was born February 27, 1939 in Huntington, WV to the late Walter and Ada Mae Ryder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Julie King Ryder. He is survived by two sons Jeffery (Chris) Ryder of Proctorville, Ohio and Jeb (Liz) Ryder of Kenova, WV; four grandchildren Nicole, Traci, Alex, and Cody Ryder; one great granddaughter Ava Mae White; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Alex and Kim Lawrence of Charleston, WV ; uncle Martin Jefferson of Canaan Valley, WV; and aunt Millie Roberts of Albuquerque, NM. He was a member of Trinity Church of God Huntington, WV and was a retired engineer from the Corps of Engineers. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday March 10, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home by Rev. Jim Richards. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Monday March 10, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
