Funeral services for Hazel "Tom" Day Jones, 86, of Evadale will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 10, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones passed away March 8, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
"Tom" was born in Lillard, Texas and was a longtime resident of Woodville and Evadale. She was a housewife.
She is preceded in death by her parents F. A. Arvel and Elizabeth Tanton Day; husband Jesse Leroy Jones; son Dale Harvill; brother Bud Day and sister Helen Jones.
Survivors include sons Perry Harvill and wife Betty and Billy Frank Reid and wife Linda all of Woodville; daughter Melinda Wigley and husband Dale of Lufkin; sisters Charlie Robert of Spurger, Beaulah Faye Boots Fry of Port Neches and Shirley Dominque and husband Harry of Rayne, Louisiana; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
