Frances Helene Ramlow, devoted wife, mother and grandmother at the age of 99 made her transition to God and her many angels on March 8th, 2014. She was formerly a resident of Greenville and Grand Rapids, Michigan, Westlake Village, California and most recently a cherished member of the Sunshine Manor family in Thousand Oaks, California.
Mrs. Ramlow was born May 31st, 1914 in Greenville to Vego T. and Kepra Christoffersen Nelson. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids and a life member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Greenville. Frances loved to sing, play piano, knit and create beautiful needlepoint. She was most happy taking care of her family, baking Danish pastries and volunteering her time at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center.
Her loving husband, Charles Henry Ramlow, preceded her in death on June 22nd, 2003 and, along with God, is joyous to have her in his arms.
Surviving family members are a daughter, Lin Ramlow-Kerkour, of Westlake Village, California, a son, Gary Ramlow, a granddaughter, Brooke Ramlow, and a great granddaughter, Chloe Ramlow, all of Memphis, Tennessee.
A graveside memorial service for both Frances and Charles will be scheduled in the near future with family and friends invited. Remembrances may be made to Sunshine Manor, 3206 Luther Avenue, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360.
