I really liked working with "fireman Bob" at Greenville Department of Public Safety. Bob always had a smile and always had a joke and in all the years I don't think he told the same joke twice. He had a way with the school kids and did great with the.school fire safety programs. Fireman Bob had a great positive impact on many. He stopped at the department this last year and was still telling jokes. Bob you will be missed.

I regret that I cannot make it to the visitation Saturday, but please know that I will be thinking about all of you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Bob was a good co-worker and friend. We had a lot of good times. He always had a joke or two to share. He was so good with the children and they loved him. The community will continue to miss Fireman Bob. God Bless You

My heart goes out to the Dehart family. I was one of the caregivers where bob resided at in greenville, in 2007. He was such a wonderful and funny human being. I also remember him growing up as a child, when he use to come with the fire department and show the proper precautions when there is a fire!. He will be dearly missed. :( My Heart,Thoughts & Prayers go out to Mr.Dehart's family. God Bless

Terry, Diane, Matt, Shelby, and the entire family, Our prayers and thoughts go out to you are this time. God will comfort you and meet your needs during this difficult time. God have given all of us the ability to pass on our faith, love, work ethic, humor, and so much more to the generations to follow. Your Dad/Grandpa had all those great qualities and they will live on forever in each of you. So the next time one of you does something that reminds you of "just like dad/grandpa" smile at them, give them a hug, share your love, and tell them one of the many stories of Dad/Grandpa. What a guy. It was always a pleasure to be around Bob. He always had a joke that would leave you in tears of laughter, and now he leaves us in tears of sorrow. Bob worked with my brother Tom at the Greenville fire dept. and became a friend through my brother Jerry "Jed" Enbody. He earned respect enough for Jed to refer to him as Dad Dehart, which Isnt an easy thing to do in our family. Gods speed ole friend, R.I.P.
