James Leo KimbleJames L. Kimble, 81, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in a local Kerrville care center. James Leo Kimble was born on Jan. 16, 1933 in Springfield, Missouri to Juanita G. Fischer Kimble and Roma B. Kimble. He worked for over 65 years as a carpenter and worked the rodeo circuit as a Championship Calf Roper. James married Wanna Vee Runyan on Feb. 12, 1987 in Longmont, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Naomi Guy and Velma Bernard; step daughter, Debbie Watson. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanna Runyan of Kerrville; step children, Peggy Hodges of Ingram and Linda Green of Kerrville; grandchildren, Payton Runyan, Paige Runyan, Kodi Runyan, Marla Heap, Bradley Kennedy, Kristen Kennedy, Cody Watson and Kevin Watson; family friend, Larissa Melton of Kerrville. He was loved and will be missed by many other family members and dear friends.

Memorial service will be 2:30 pm, Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Wright's Funeral Parlor, Kerrville.
