Jamond Michael Buford, 30, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, from injuries he received in an automobile accident.
He was born Oct. 27, 1983, in Glasgow, to Pamela Denise Wood (Chris) McKinney of Gallatin, Tenn., and the Rev. James I. (Pamela Young) Buford of Campbellsville.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Lionel Buford.
Jamond was a member of Johnson Memorial CME Church and was baptized at Star Calvary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Franklin Simpson High School and worked in the musical arts.
Also left to cherish his memory include his fiancée, Leslie Baker of Ashland; sons Jordyn and Ayden Buford of Ashland; daughters Daeshia Buford and Brooklyn Justice of Ashland; brothers Johnathan Buford and Javonna Lamont (Janie) Buford of Bowling Green; a sister, Jasmine Buford (Andrew) Jones of Gallatin; stepsisters LeKenya (Shane) Lawrence, TeKaira Butler, JoKeidre Butler and DeAryon Butler; uncles Jason Wood, Michael Wood and Jeff Buford; and a host of extended family members and friends.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Johnson Memorial CME Church, officiated by the Rev. Roy K. Reid, with the Rev. James I. Buford as eulogist. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
