We are so saddened to hear about Faye. It has been a long time, but there are many good childhood memories attached to her and being at Mommaw and Poppaw's. I long for "Faye cake" even now. I will never forget that she baked a 9x13 sheetcake and shipped the entire thing to Darren in Florida. I can't imagine the condition when it got there, but she wanted him to have it. I am sure the two of them are sharing good stories right now. We love you both. We will see you soon.

Marsha, Everett and all other family members, this is a great loss for all who knew Faye. I wish I could be with you during this time of sorrow. Please know how very highly I thought of Faye. Faye was an incredibly generous and loving person. What a lovely legacy to leave this world. You are in my thoughts! Love, Cousin Lisa

My Mother also died recently. I cant say I know exactly how you feel; because every death, every loss, is unique, and every person has to find their own individual journey of healing. Ever since I lost my Mother I have had a lot more empathy for what families go through. I am writing because I received a lot of comfort to help me endure my sadness. What helped me the most was scriptures in the Bible. I respect that everyone has their own beliefs and I am not writing to push my beliefs on anyone. But I hope this scripture will encourage you. Revelation 21:3-4: And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. So the things we have to deal with now will someday be gone. May the love of your friends and family help you through this difficult time.
