Laura was one of our kids from little league. I am so sorry about her passing. She was my daughters classmate all through school. We are deeply saddened by her passing. Prayers for her parents, & family. Rest in peace Little Laura!!

Laura Elizabeth Stender, 27, of Milton, went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor George Surgeon. Burial will be at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. She was born June 18, 1986, in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Gladys Jenkins and Yorkie Werth and grandfather, Crit Stender. She is survived by her two sons, Jalen and Jaxon McClain and their father, James McClain; parents, Pete and Margy Stender; brothers, Matthew and Elijah Stender and sisters, Jessina and Nevaeh Stender; grandfather, Sam Jenkins of Glenwood; and a host of family and friends.
