Emma Lou Brownlee Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1922 - 2014 Emma Lou Brownlee Graveside services for Emma Lou Brownlee, 91, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at Farmer Funeral Home. Mrs. Brownlee died March 25, 2014 at Silsbee Convalescent Center. Emma was born in Call and was a longtime resident of Hardin County. She was retired from the Lumberton Public Library where she was an assistant librarian. Mrs Brownlee is preceded in death by Her parents William Samuel and Fannie Lou Bishop Rosser; husband W.E. Bill Brownlee; brothers William Rosser, Neff Rosser, W.S. Rosser and Norman Rosser; sisters Mattie Harrington, Althea Paramore, Inez Grisham, Doris Suitt and Norma Wallace. Survivors include daughters Sharon Wornick and husband Gary of Wildwood and Diane Cane of New York NY; granddaughter Kathy Friend and husband Lt. Col. Dan Friend of Woodbridge VA; grandson Jason Wornick and wife Laci of Mount Belvieu; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Memorial contributions honoring Mrs. Brownlee may be made to the Lumberton Public Library.

Sharon I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The loss of a Mother is a hard thing but just keep her memory alive and you will be ok. I will be praying for you and your family for peace and comfort.

I am so very sorry to ,hear of Emma Lou passing. I work with mher nat nthe court house such a very sweet lady.
