Franklin Dow Gilchriest Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1958 - 2014 Funeral services for Franklin Dow Gilchriest, 55, of Fred will be 4:30 pm Sunday March 30, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. He passed away March 28, 2014 at his residence in Fred surrounded by his family. Frankie was born in Kountze and was raised in Fred and was a longtime resident of Beaumont. He graduated from Warren High School in 1977 and had been employed with Entergy for 34 years. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his parents Arthur Gerald and Betty Jean Odom Gilchriest of Fred; sisters Geraldine Davis and husband Roger and Martha Willis and husband Greg all of Fred; niece Jessica Hooks; nephews Mitchell Hooks, Matthew Hooks, Gary Davis and Daniel Davis and a host of family and friends.
