In addition to her husband, Carl, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marian Therkildsen, Ruth Horton, and Doris Horton. Elvira's family wishes to express its sincere thanks to all the caregivers at Masonic Pathways for their kindness and compassion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rev. Betsy Kamphuis and Rev. Gary Hansen officiating. Elvira was truly a great friend of my family, she and grandma (Eva Bidstrup) were very close. I always enjoyed talking with Elvira, such a sweet and thoughtful person and full of wonderful stories and great laughs. She will be missed. Blessings to the entire family. I won't be able to join you for the service as I am in Colorado right now but you are in my thoughts and prayers.
