Jimmy Edward Rawls Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1958 - 2014 Funeral services for Jimmy Edward Rawls, 56, of Spurger, will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Rawls passed away April 9, 2014 in Spurger. A native of Kountze, Jimmy was a lifetime resident of Hardin and Tyler counties. He worked for Triple S at MeadWesvaco as a pipefitter for many years. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, James T. Jim Rawls; wife Pamela Rogers Rawls, daughter Amanda Rawls and step-daughter Annie Jeffcoat. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Sheffield Rawls of Spurger; mother Helen Fleetwood Rawls of Silsbee; son Shain Rawls and wife Kelsey of Spurger; daughter Whitney Poche and husband Jason of Spurger; sister Diane Dicie Rawls of Silsbee; uncle Charles Rawls & wife Brenda of Silsbee and granddaughter Ella Lynn Poche.

Although I have not seen Jimmy since 1976, the memories I have will be cherished forever. He was a great friend to have and someone who will hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
