Carrie Irene Heck, 82, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born April 8, 1932 in Mann, WV daughter of the late Newton and Allie Lee Dean. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Rev. Forrest Franklin; and several brothers and sisters. She was a faithful member of Rock of Ages Church in Guyandotte, WV and a member of the South Point OES #404. She was a retired L.P.N. She is survived by husband Homer Heck; one son Michael Paul Fuller of Chesapeake, Ohio; one daughter Mary Fay Hall of Yawkey, WV; 11 grandchildren; four step children; six sisters Oma Montgomery of Apex, NC, Ruby Robinson of Glasgow, WV, Betty Vance of Davin, WV, June Grant of Smithville, WV, Helen Hendricks of Gilbert, WV and Rhenda Stafford of Blue Ridge, GA; and a host of friends and family. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Buddy Muncy. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
