Joanna Rae Lucas, 74, of Kitts Hill, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born February 17, 1940 in Chesapeake, Ohio daughter of the late Oliver and Ella Benson McMaster. She is survived by her husband Herman Lucas; one daughter Karen Sue Little of Chesapeake, Ohio; two sons Jerry Lucas of Ironton, Ohio and Keith Doug Lucas of Milton, WV; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister Hilda Moore of Chesapeake, Ohio; three brothers Richard McMaster of Chesapeake, Ohio, Bill McMaster of Proctorville, Ohio and Denver McMaster of Proctorville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Tonya Cremeans for her special care and concern. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Justin Berry. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mommy was a very sweet and special lady. She was truly a blessing to many and will be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is rejoicing in heaven and know she is watching over everyone until that glorious day when we get to make that final journey home to be with her! Lots of thoughts and prayers! I love you all!

Mamaw was such a loving, caring, kind, compassionate woman. She was a diamond in the sky & such a special person to us all. We are going to miss her so much. But she left us all with so many memories.
We love you Mamaw & you will forever in a day will be loved and missed so much.
May you always fly with the angels and until we see you again...
