1942 - 2014
 Frances M. Brock, age 71 of Six Lakes, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her daughters home in Mt. Pleasant with her family by her side. She was born October 10, 1942 to Argie Margaret Kirby Cain and Paul Alonzo Kirby. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul in 1945; second father, Robert C. Cain, Sr. in 1988; and mother, Argie in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Allen) Thomas of Mt. Pleasant; son, Kenneth Ray (Tara) Brock of Rockford; grandchildren, Roy (Melissa) Thomas of Calumet, Amanda Thomas of Shepherd, Aaron Brock of Rockford, and Alicia Brock of Rockford; three great-grandchildren; sister, Hanna (Daryl) Dunsmore of Fowlerville; brother, Robert "Bob" (Jackie) Cain, Jr. of Six Lakes; seven aunts; two uncles; two nieces; three nephews; and special friend, Johnny Jordan of Edmore. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church (530 W. Howard City-Edmore Rd., Edmore), Rev. Aaron I. Sorrels officiating. Inurnment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Six Lakes. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice. |

I was very sorry to hear Frances passed away. I've known her for since '89. I worked with her, and for her. I didn't see her a lot after she left Kelsey, but I thought of her often.

May you watch over us now grandma in no more pain, I'll forever see your smile, how infectious it was. Enjoy your time meeting back up with your parents and family up there, I know I will see you again sometime, and I can't wait. I love you so very much and gonna miss you dearly, but I know your happy now and not hurting from the ferocious fight you were in.
