 Melanie Lynn Ellis, 66, of Huntington, passed away April 18, 2014, at St. Marys Medical Center. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Mausoleum. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born May 27, 1947, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Delmas Rollyson and Anna Jean Wilson Rollyson. She was also preceded in death by her brother Delmas P. Buddy Rollyson. She is survived by husband of 39 years Larry L. Ellis; one sister Deanna (Fred) Reger; one brother Stephen (Sherry) Rollyson; sister-in-law Trina (Don) Smith; nephews Joshua Smith, Shawn (Laura) Reger, and Erich (Bridgette) Reger. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. |

When I think of Melanie, it takes my mind back to the late 1950's and early 1960's. The days of YMCA Biddy Basketball and Little League Baseball. Getting to know her parents, her sister and her two brothers, was a positive part of my growing up. It was always enjoyable running in to her and Larry over the years as time marched on. RIP Melanie!!!!!!
