Ronald Gale Hensley SrMr. Ronald G. Hensley passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the age of 69. Mr. Hensley was born in Kingsport, TN on December 30, 1944 to Lloyd Kelley and Maggie Sue West Hensley. Mr. Hensley had lived in Silsbee since 1968, and was retired from Gulf Oil, Chevron and Clark Refineries.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Rebecca Bottoms Hensley. They were married on August 16, 1964 in Jacinto City, TX. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this year.

Also surviving Mr. Hensley are his three sons, Ronald G. Hensley Jr. of Silsbee, Michael Hensley and his wife Dolores of Forney TX and Shannon Hensley and his wife Annie of Simms TX. He is also survived by two sisters, Janie M. Cooley and Elizabeth Craven, both of Mississippi.

Mr. Hensley was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Kelley and Maggie Sue West Hensley, his sister Mary Kate Lawson and his brother Lynn Kelley (Dude) Hensley.

Mr. Hensley loved his wife Judy, his three sons and his eleven grandchildren. His grandchildren are Meagan Lyne of Houston, Marshall Anthony of Forney TX, Steven Andrew of Alexandria MN, Rebecca Suzanne of Omaha TX, Amber Lyne of Alexandria MN, David Clay of Mesa AZ, Daniel Luciano of Magnolia AR, James Carroll of Simms TX, Adam Michael of Forney TX, Braeden Thomas and Zachary Doyle, both of Lumberton TX. He also had four great-grandchildren, Kaylene, Brielle, Jayden and Mason and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hensley was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church in Silsbee, a 40 year member of the Silsbee Masonic Lodge, as well as being a US Army veteran during the Vietnam Era.

Arrangements are being handled by Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. His services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Pastor Sonny Sturgeon and Pastor Chris Bottoms will officiate the services for Mr. Hensley.

uncle fuzzy was a wonderful man whom i loved very much. it is so hard to believe he his gone but he will never be forgotten. i love you uncle fuz i will see you again one day
