Friends from Hamlin Baptist Church, Hamlin WV wish to express our deepest sympathy in the passing of Verna. We became acquainted with her through the years in attending the yearly ladies prayer retreat for the Greater Huntington Baptist Association. It was clear to see she was a great woman of faith and was loved dearly by her church family. God Bless!

Verna and Ralph were our neighbors for many years in Altizer. I remember her being our Bible School teacher when we were in elementary school. They were both awesome, Godly people and will be missed by many.
