Geneva L. Hunt Shank, 89, of Chesapeake, Ohio, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Friday May 2, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. She was born July 6, 1924 in Lawrence County, Ohio daughter of the late Grace Ferris and Caughlia Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son David Staley; six sisters and four brothers. She is survived by one brother Paul Hunt; daughter Janet Webb; grandchildren Tina Sexton, Scott (Kristina) Webb, and Cheri and Michael Staley; four great grandchildren Chandler and Natalie Sexton, and Cole and Brevin Webb; and special niece Patty Hayes. She was dearly loved by her family and embodied strength of faith and spirit. Funeral service will be conducted 12 p.m. Tuesday May 6, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor D.L. Webb. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio.
