Betty Jo Brumfield Stowers Lewis, 73, of Charleston, WV, departed from this life into Everlasting Life to meet her Savior, her Mommie and Daddy, Amanda Booth Brumfield and William Henry Brumfield, and a granddaughter, Kara Sue Stowers on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Hospice Care in South Charleston. She was born March 10, 1941 in Lincoln County. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Lewis of Charleston; three sons, Ron (Christina) Stowers of Culloden, Mark (Doris) Stowers of Cross Lanes, and Ken (Kristy) Stowers of Culloden; seven grandchildren, Toshia, Dusty, Cole, Jessica, Cody, Leigh Ann and Kaileigh ; two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Carson; two sisters, Wanda Jean (Golden) Collins of Milton and Leda Serrano of Wyoming; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind the father of her sons, R.D. Stowers. Betty loved to sing and play her piano and guitar with her sons. She has sung on several radio programs and in area churches. Services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton by Pastor Randy Stanley. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
