Linda Hardesty Knupple Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1937 - 2014

Linda Hardesty Knupple started her life September 4, 1937 in Manassas, Virginia and she left this world May 19, 2014.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, William (Bill) Knupple, one brother, Robert Hardesty of Virginia and by her nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Linda served her country as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy as a nurse for 6 years. Linda also worked as an animal advocate, rescuing, protecting and placing them in loving homes. Linda was an expert Horticulturist and was willing to help anyone with her knowledge and expertise. She was always the one with the overwhelming generosity and selflessness towards others with the ability to instinctively know what was needed in countless situations for family, friends, and acquaintances.

In lieu of flowers, please give to an animal charity of your choice, due to Linda's avid love and support of animal rights and advocacy.

Linda's life motto was "Do unto others, as you would have done unto you", she will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be Thursday May 22, 2014 at 10:00am at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 21, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Billy, we were so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. We're no longer able to go like we want to so attending the funeral isn't possible, but we're thinking of you and wish you the best in life.

I m so sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a hope of a resurrection, this is a provision from Jehovah God showing his undeserved kindness. In God's new world, "No resident will say: I m sick and pain will be no more.---Isaiah 33:24 and Revelation 21:1-4.
