Funeral services for Dollie Marie Gordon, 78, of Fred will be 10:00 am Monday, June 2, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gordon passed away May 30, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Fred. She was married to her husband Rupert for almost 60 years. She was a devoted wife and mother and a friend to everyone she met.
Dollie is preceded in death by her parents Dick and Pearl Callaway; husband Rupert Gordon; son-in-law Robert Farmer; sisters Faye Simpson, Mildred Yawn and Betty Smith and brother Leo Callaway.
Survivors include daughters Sandy Allen and husband Dennis and Rosie Farmer all of Silsbee; sister Carolyn Hoffman and husband Joe of Silsbee; four grandchildren Kevin Allen and wife Mitzi of Silsbee, Stacy Caldwell and husband John of Livingston, Ryan Farmer of Silsbee and Angela Khailil and husband Mo of Beaumont and nine great grandchildren.
