Robert Earl Roberts Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1940 - 2014 Funeral services for Robert Earl Roberts, 73, of Warren are 2:00 pm Friday, June 6, 2014 at Happy Valley Church in Kountze with a Masonic interment following in Hooks Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the church. Mr. Roberts died June 3, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Kountze, Robert was a first class machinist, retiring from Gulf Coast Machine and Supply in Beaumont after 37 years of service. He moved to Warren after retiring and was a member of Happy Valley Church and a Mason in the Kountze Masonic Lodge. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents, Harris Thorpe Roberts Sr and Josie Cravey Roberts. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Carol Luhm Roberts of Warren; daughter Teresa Lynn Danforth of Beaumont; grandchildren Aimee Rene Nicole Grant of Beaumont and Brandon (Danforth) Hill of Austin and great grandchild Cashley Joseph of Beaumont.

Carol, I just learned of Robert Earls death, and I don't have words to say how sorry I am and how much I will miss him. He was a dear classmate of mine and I will always cherish our friendship. He was one of my favorite people. I loved being around him. If there is anything that I can do just let me know.

I will miss Robert Earl. His courageous battle against great odds a true inspiration. He was a good friend to my brother and I know they are now catching up - listening to that heavenly choir.
