Funeral services for Charles Lee Russell, 76, of Silsbee, will be 4:00 pm Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Russell died suddenly June 19, 2014 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Beaumont, Charles was a long time resident of Silsbee. He proudly served his country in the USAF. He worked at many different trades during his life and considered himself a jack of all trades . There wasnt much he couldnt do.
Mr. Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Merl and Billie Ruth Burns Russell.
Survivors include his wife of many years, Barbara Abey Mitchell of Silsbee; daughters Valinda Howard of Buna, Merlene Russell of Buna, Charlotte Russell of Buna and Joanne Wallie of Leesville LA; sister Lela Russell of Silsbee; twenty three grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
Charles will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
