Harry John Nielsen Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2014 Mr. Harry John Nielsen, age 90, died Monday, June 23, 2014. A proud veteran of World War II, he served as a Lieutenant Commander and pilot in the United States Navy. Harry is survived by his wife, Emma; children, Janice Ann (Carl) Peters and Mark Andrew (Mary Lou Andries) Nielsen; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, June 27, 2014 at Blythefield Memory Gardens (6200 Brewer Ave. NE, Belmont, MI 49306), with Rev. Dr. Jerrold T. Jones of the First Congregational Church of Greenville officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
