Glynetta Toots Mawmaw Preece Ward, 85, of South Point Ohio, was reunited with the love of her life of 65 years on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 29, 1928 in Kermit, WV. She was the daughter of the late Thomas H. Preece and Estella Meade Preece. In addition to her parents, gaining their Heavenly reward before her was her husband Raymond Pawpaw Ward; son-in-law Jiggs Wilson; two brothers Don and Wilburn Wig Preece; and a sister Lena Preece. She is survived by two daughters Donna Wilson and Tammie (Ed) Koletka; a granddaughter Julie (Ryan) Nelson; three grandsons Robert (Cheri) Wilson; Brad Wilson (Tonda Waugh) and Benji Koletka; great grandchildren Chris, Marina, Alex, Celeste (Forrest), Hannah, Amber, Shandi, Trent, Troy, Michaela and Bradley; two great great grandsons Bryce and Remmington; a sister-in-law Helen Stollings; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends; and extended Church family. She retired from Hills Department Store. She attended Prestons Beauty College and was also former owner of Wards Cakes and Candy Supplies. She was a member of Rockwood Baptist Church and enjoyed working in Vacation Bible School and being a hostess. One of her favorite things to do was cooking for Rockwood Baptist Church Camp. The family wishes to thank Quality Home Health, Medi-Home Health, and Hospice of Huntington, her faithful care workers Mertie Jenkins and Ellen Miller. Funeral service will be conducted 4 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jerry Galloway. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the funeral home.
