Tommye Dena Mortimore Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1950 - 2014 A memorial service for Tommye Dena Mortimore, 64, of Austin will be held at 11 o'clock on the morning of Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. Mrs. Mortimore passed away at Seaton Medical Center in Austin on Friday, June 20, 2014. Dena was a native of Silsbee and a longtime resident of Austin. She was retired from the State of Texas, and was an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Byron Read, and a brother, Joseph J. "Joey" Landry. Survivors include her husband David Mortimore of Austin, mother Ella Dee Williamson Read of Austin, cousins Frank E. McDonald and family of Silsbee, and niece Melissa Landry of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dena will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

We are so sorry for the loss of Dena for David and family and all of her many extended family and friends. Dena was a beautiful person with a loving spirit and touched many lives on her time here with us. She will be long remembered and sadly missed.

I m so sorry for your loss. The Bible Tells us that through our endurance and though the comfort from the scriptures we might have hope". Romans 15:4. Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death forever.
