I am Ed Shicks oldest. He is Ruth's cousin on the Brackney side. My Dad and Mom and my little sister and I visited the farm several times a year. I was fascinated bec there were fireplaces in every room , a pump outside for water , and an outhouse. I loved to go see MaryJane and Carol. They were grownup (teens ) and so nice to us. They played games and took walks with us. Carol let me "preside " over her preparations for a date once. She always had time for us. I loved her laugh. Unfortunately , I have not seen her in years. But I see in the photo on this website, she still had that sweet face and smile I remembered. I am sorry for your loss. But I know no one can take the good memories you all had with Carol. May God bless you all, Carmen

I m so sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a hope of a resurrection, this is a provision from Jehovah God showing his undeserved kindness. Please accept my sincere condolences.
