Gregory Scott Chapman, 50, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at home. He was born January 20, 1964 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmie Chapman and Joan Bowen Chapman. He is survived by his step mother Sheila Chapman; three brothers Jimmie Chapman, Bobby Chapman and Tim Chapman; three sisters Sasha Chapman, Melinda Ashby and Amy Macabee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Maupin Cemetery, Milton, WV. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Dear Chapman Family, I'm so sorry to hear about this, it has broken my heart....I talked to Greg a while back & we talked about the good old days, he never one time failed to ask about Adrianna & Anthony, he loved my 2 children like his own...My heart is broken, I'm so sorry...He's at rest now & his memory will live on in our hearts forever...God Bless you all...

Dear Chapman family .... Greg was a good hearted guy... I'm glad I can call him a friend... I've got alot of childhood memories and now memories... I'm going to miss seeing and talking to him ....
