Earl Otis Mannon, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at home. He was born September 10, 1925 in Platform, Ohio son of the late Otis and Gay Jeffers Mannon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Lee Mannon. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and member of Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878. He is survived by one daughter Ronda Gay Mannon and fiancee Robert Thacker; three sons Roger Earl Mannon, Rondel Lee Mannon and Roger Edward Mannon; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jack Rankin. Burial will follow in Crown City Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
