1924 - 2014
Berniece Audrey Mason, age 89 of Greenville, died Wednesday morning, July 23, 2014. She was born November 25, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of Arthur C. and Ethel P. (Slocum) Kreeger. She enjoyed planning bingo, crocheting, crafts, and crossword puzzles. She was a life member of the Cleveland-Wolverton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3794 Auxiliary in Greenville. Berniece is survived by her children, Sharon (David) Hurst, Carol (Flip) Hagadus, Pam Foster, Dennis (Debbie) Hagadus, Kendall (Ellen) Hagadus, Tracy (Pat) Shumate, and Mark Mason; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Genevieve Kreeger and Pauline Kreeger. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Arthur, Marvis, Owen, Kreeta, Louise, Jeanette, Patricia, and Charles. Graveside committal services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Sheridan Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
