Patricia Ann Goad Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1935 - 2014 Patricia Ann Goad, 78 of Barboursville, WV., went home to be with the Lord July 31, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Ralph Sager. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born August 23, 1935, in Oceana, WV, a daughter of the late Hayes and Viola Forren Hamrick. She graduated from Gilbert High School and attended Concord College. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy D. Goad; two brothers, Larry and Layton Hamrick. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Eric Hayes of Macon, GA; three sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Teresa Goad of Salt Rock, Jeffery and Jamie Goad of Barboursville, Jason Goad of Barboursville; one sister, Anita Merritt of Gilbert and one brother Terry Hamrick of Justice; eight grandchildren, Brittany (Drew) Kelley of Greenville, SC, Seth (Lindsay) Hunt of Greenville, SC, Marley Hayes of Macon, GA, Josh (Bobbi) Goad of Murfreesboro, TN, Jared (Teri) Goad of Wytheville, VA, Mindy (Eric) Stephens of Barboursville, WV, Zachary (Chelsea) Goad of Barboursville and Korey Goad of Barboursville, WV; six great grandchildren; and two special friends Irma Shy and Janice Young. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

With our deepest sympathy to the family. May God give all of you strength to get through this difficult time. I remember her as a sweet person always with a pleasant smile on her face. May Pat now rest in peace. We all now live in the Atlanta, Ga. area. Janet and George Richard Woodstock, Ga.
