Jennie Marjorine  Fontaine Graveside services for Jennie Marjorine Fontaine, 84, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fontaine passed away August 2, 2014 in the comfort of her home.

Margie was a native of Gary, Texas and a long time resident of Silsbee. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening as well as hunting and fishing.

She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years W. A. "Bill" Fontaine, Sr.; parents Wilber and Willie Wooten and sister Lois Cook.

Survivors include sons William Arthur "Billy" Fontaine, Jr. and wife Rachel of Katy, Jerald Wayne Fontaine and wife Celia of Silsbee and David Lynn Fontaine and wife Margret of Hemphill; daughter Cynthia Diane Slaughter and husband Randy of Beaumont; grandchildren Trey Fontaine and wife Michelle, Tim Fontaine, Jenny Fontaine, Jason Fontaine and wife Rennie, Allen Fontaine and wife Crystal and Kayla Ainsworth and husband Ben; great grandchildren Kinsley, Greg, Will, Avery and Zaylie and nephews Robert Cook and wife Monica of Houston and Pat Cook and wife Janet of Lakeview.

Following the service there will be a gathering of family and friends at the Fontaine home at 8445 Friendship Road in Silsbee.

Due to the hot weather, Margie's family has requested that everyone please come dressed in casual attire.

Jerry and family, I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Fontaine's passing. I can see you, Jerry, in this wonderful picture of your mother. I appreciate that she was so pretty and also such an accomplished outdoors-woman. I know that she guided you to be the kind, smart person that you are. My sincerest condolences.

Margie and I had such wonderful times together along with Cyndi. I loved her very much. Bill and I loved the time we all went out to eat and we will always cherish the time we spent together. We will miss Margie very much. Love Bill and Brenda Kerl
