Norman Lewis West Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1952 - 2014 Funeral services for Norman Lewis West, 61, of Evadale are 1:00 pm Friday, August 8, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. West passed away August 5, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Leesville LA, Norman was a lifelong resident of Evadale. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Cecilia Litherland West. Survivors include his sons Matthew West of Lumberton, Ryan West of Lumberton and Keith West of Vidor; daughter Rebecca Ann Miller of Silsbee; brothers James West of Evadale and Brian West of Eagle Pass; sister Joan West of Evadale and grandchildren McKenzie West, Marissa West, Keaton West, Kade West and Gavin West.

I went to school with Norman and I have always considered him a very good friend. He will be missed! I am praying God surrounds you all with his strength and grace!

I am so sorry to hear of Normans passing. We went to school and graduated together in 1971. I have always considered him a very good friend.
