Everett Martin, 84, of Barboursville, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Jolin Health Center, Ironton, Ohio. He was born March 25, 1930, in Wayne County, a son of the late Walter and Roma Curry Martin. He is also preceded in death by one son, Kane Martin; two brothers, Van Martin and Sidney Martin. He served in the United States Navy serving during Korea and Vietnam. He retired from CSX Transportation as a Machinist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his coffee drinkers at McDonalds. He is survived by one son, David Martin and his mother, Frances J. Adkins; companion of 20 years, Donna Brumfield; two grandchildren, Trevor Martin and Wesley J. Martin. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville with military graveside services. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
