Veva Faye Pratt, 86, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Saturday August 23, 2014 at Community Hospice, Ashland, KY. The Lawrence County native was born October 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Edward and Veva Romans Walters. Ms. Pratt was a beautician for most of her life. She was a resident of Jo-Lin Health Care Center where she had many loving caretakers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Ron Chaffins of Kitts Hill, Ohio; daughter Connie Smith of Ironton, Ohio; and son and daughter-in-law John and Lana Pratt of Warsaw, Indiana; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; one sister Virginia Willis of South Point, Ohio; two nieces; and one great niece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two great grandchildren; sisters Kathleen Mays, Betty Henry, and twin sister Neva Mae; brothers Lawrence, Chester, and Raymond Walters; four nephews; and a great niece. There will be a private celebration of her life at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Care, Pollard Ave, Ashland, KY.
