Clevis Maynard, 86, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with His Lord on Friday, August 29, 2014 at St. Marys Medical Center. He was born April 10, 1928 in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Jarrett and Reba Maynard. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wilma Jean Adkins Maynard and their daughter Tena Reif of Katy, TX. Also surviving are grandchildren Adrienne, Courtney, Chelsea and Darrell Reif all of Katy, TX and one sister Carmel M. Lewis of Chesapeake, O. He was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Maynard, and two brothers Nelva and Ray Maynard. Clevis served in the United States Air Force and retired from INCO with 30 years of service. He was a member of Philadelphia United Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastors Don Napier and Leo Maynard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Miller Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Miller,Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
