 Donald Ray Moore, 59, of Barboursville, WV, passed away at home on Thursday, August 28, 2014. He was born on July 9, 1955 in Cabell County a son of Charles and Shirley (Cowan) Moore of Barboursville. He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Moore, paternal grandparents, Walter and Viola Moore, and maternal grandparents, Ed and Sylvia Cowan. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Moore; one daughter, Kristy Moore of Kentucky; one son, Donald Allen Moore of Barboursville; his beloved dog, Benji; eight brothers and sisters, Debra (John) Gue of Salt Rock, Patricia (Joe) Hong of Clearwater, Florida, David (Karen) Moore of Barboursville, Terry Moore, Raymond Moore Jr. and Alice (Melvin) Eaves all of Huntington, Mary Moore of Ohio and Kelly (Steve) Malu of Florida; special aunt and uncle, Joyce and Jack Burcham of South Point, OH, a host of nieces and nephews; and lots of family and friends. Special thanks to Hospice of Huntington, Dr. Bir, Dr. Mitiek, St. Marys Medical Center, Dr. Klinestiver and their staffs. Lisa would like to give a very, very special thanks to Aunt Teresa, her brother and his wife, Randy and Christine Wilson and her daddy, Gene Wilson. Friends may visit from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, WV with a memorial service conducted at 3:00 p.m. by Pastor Johnny Gue. I am so glad that Justin and I were able to visit with Donnie before he passed. Justin loved Donnie as a brother.
