Funeral services for Jack King Pritchett, 82, of Lumberton will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Pritchett died September 17, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Marion IL, Jack lived in Lumberton since 1955. He was a member of Woodcrest Methodist Church and worked as a mechanical engineering supervisor for Dow Chemical before retiring. Mr. Pritchett proudly served his nation in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and Operation Castle Atomic Test at Eniwetok Proving Ground, Marshall Islands during the winter of 1954.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Billie Jean Hudspeth Pritchett of Lumberton; daughters Kathryn Pritchett Branley and husband Tony of San Antonio and Karyn Pritchett Domino and husband Chris of Lumberton; brothers Carl Ray Pritchett and wife Margaret and Jerry Pritchett and wife Diana; sisters Janie Booth and Jo Ann Hock and grandchildren Jacob Chase Young, Hailey Morgan Young, and Aisling Kaitlin Branley.
