George Cartee Hall Sr, 78, of Huntington WV formerly of Carter City Ky passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, WV due to a tragic accident. He was the husband of Barbara Jean Angle Hall. He was a retired lab technician from International Nickel Company and a member of 1st Baptist Church in Chesapeake Ohio. He was the son of the late Jeff Hall and May Cartee Hall of Carter City Kentucky. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Wade Hall. In addition to his wife he is survived by one son George Cartee Hall II of South point Ohio and his wife Hollie Jennings Hall; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters Racine Anderson of Falls Church, VA and Callie Curtis of New Mexico. He was a hard working individual and a country boy at heart. He loved his family and loved working in his garden. He will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Ronnie Tyree and Pastor Jay Love. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
