Steve was born in Beaumont and a lifelong resident of Silsbee. He is preceeded in death by his father Raymond Edward Reed. Survivors include his wife La Vonda Benoit; mother Earnestine Smith Dixson; son Dwayne Ross; brother Raymond Earnest Reed and wife Carol and one grandchild.
