Dewey C. HutsonDewey Carl Hutson, age 84 of Greenville, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his home under the loving care of his family. He was born April 23, 1930 in Remus, the son of Carl and Ruth (Stehouwer) Hutson. He married Patricia Joan Johnson on June 10, 1951. Dewey was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. His professional career was with Wolverine Worldwide, where he served as Plants Manager. He was also the owner of Hutson Tree Farms, and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Stanton. Above all, Dewey was a faithfully devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed, especially by his children, Darcie (Rev. Robert) Goodenough of Otsego, Douglas (Tami) Hutson of Greenville, and David (Judy) Hutson of Howard City; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Hutson, Jamie (Sam) Johnson, Rae Lee (Joshua) Richards, Nicki (Ted) Wohlford, Dennis (Heather) Goodenough, Isaac Hutson, Heather (Mike) Harrington, Hannah Hutson, and Hope Hutson; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Trenton, Jenavive, Sean, and Henry, with another great-grandson expected in December. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Stanton, with Rev. Ryan White, Rev. Duane Cross, and Rev. Robert Goodenough officiating. Private family graveside services will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Langston. Memorial contributions may be made First Baptist Church of Stanton or to RBM Ministries (P.O. Box 128, Plainwell, MI 49080).

Hudson Family, We were saddend to hear of Deweys passing , such a nice man he will be missed.
